During law school he was awarded the Minnesota State Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section Outstanding Achievement Award.

Amy Sauter is an Associate Attorney with Heller & Thyen, P.A., currently practicing in the area of consumer bankruptcy representing debtors. Amy also represents debtors against violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). She graduated with honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. During law school she was awarded Certificates of Merit in Advanced Document Discovery, Bankruptcy, Civil Procedure II, Constitutional Law II, and Workers’ Compensation.
